"The Son (18 years old) Of A Rover Owner"
Sir,
The best advice one can give ” Pierre ” is to buy a Rover 75 with a bench front seat.
The shepherd’s-crook gear-lever will tuck up out of the way when engaged in reverse, bottom or third, and thus offers no obstacle to “Pierre’s” honourable intentions.
The hand-brake is on the right hand side and offers no obstacle at all to the female if she is willing, and as for the transmission tunnel, it isn’t even noticeable.
The only danger of the windows steaming up is that the rear one may do so but even this danger may be removed by slightly opening the front window.
The Rover, which has these features and an extremely good performance, would therefore seem to be the answer to ” Pierre’s” problem.
I am, Yours, etc.,
“THE SON (18 years old) OF A ROVER OWNER.”
