SHELSLEY AGAIN ON MAY 28th !

SHELSLEY AGAIN ON MAY 28th!

Once again, on May 28th, we shall all trek to Shelsley Walsh for the first 1938 Shelsley Walsh open organised by Leslie Wilson and the Midland A.C. There is something irresistible about Shelsley and no enthusiast misses it if he can help it. In deed, many are the adnturous runs undertaken in odd cars to this historic and picturesque venue. The usual sports and racing chassis will be contested in the afternoon, following eliminating trials in the morning. There will also be a class for pre-war cars, featuring the pick of the Vintage S.C.C.’s old racing-cars in stern competition. Raymond Mays will most likely attack the hill record, held by Pane’s ” Shelsley ” Frazer-Nash, with the new 21-litre Grand Prix E.R.A. Wherever else we do not see you, you must be at Shelsley 1
