C. H. THE World’s Unlimited Outboard Speed Record is at present held by Tommy Estlick at a speed of 56.71 statute miles per hour. This was achieved
on Saltona lake, California, which is considerably below sea level. The advantage of this is that” the atmospheric pressure is abnormally high, giving a slight super-charging effect. A Johnson motor was used.
