EASTER MONDAY AT BROOKLANDS First B.A.R.C. Meeting.

BA.R.C. weather is by now traditionally excellent, . and Easter Monday was no exception. Great things were expected at this meeting, for it was promised that Major Segrave and perhaps Captain Campbell would perform exhibition laps on their respective record breakers, but to everyone’s disappointment neither car was brought out, though the Napier was on view in Captain Campbell’s show-rooms. Another feature tending to minimise the interest in the races, of course, was the inevitable absence of several of last year’s most brilliant drivers. It is impossible to over
