Several competitors failed on the right-hand bend which followed. Only one competitor was penalised in the start from cold-. test after lunch at Wendover. Chalky Lane was unobserved, and several riders omitted it from the route. The trail then led up to Kop Hill, through Great Missenden, finishing at Boxmoor. Two competitors tied for the second place, despite a secret check. RESULTS.—Silver Cup, S. Walton (349 c.c. B.S.A.). Silver Medals, H. H. Lewis (349 c.c. B.S.A.) and L. Christensen (172 c.c.
