Bentley plans two-day festival

The Bentley Drivers’ Club will run a two-day race meeting for the first time over the weekend of August 8/9 to mark an unbroken run of six decades of annual meetings at Silverstone.

Having run an event at the Northamptonshire track every year since 1949, the weekend will build on the club’s usual format of Bentley and Morgan races to include Aston Martin Owners’ Club, Masters Top Hat and Cloth Cap races, plus an Equipe GTS event.

“This looks set to be the most exciting – and certainly the most extensive – race meeting the Bentley Drivers’ Club has ever run,” said Sebastian Welch of the BDC.
