Out of these three it’s The Motorcycle Yearbook that’s had to review the least exciting season, hence it is adorned with scantily-clad women in order to grab your attention.

Of course the Formula 1 Yearbook will be the most widely read, and justly so as it is decorated with some astonishing photos and contains the usual in-depth GP data. It’s not until you’ve had a blazing row over who came fourth in the 2007 Mexico Rally that you start to appreciate just how useful these books are. They have all the results, but don’t be fooled into thinking that they can’t be appreciated as works of stunning photography and factual insight. EF
