Motor Sport is sad to report the death of Marshall Watson, father of five-time GP winner John. A seasoned racer in his own right, Marshall was famous for winning the first saloon car race to be held in Ireland at the wheel of a Citroen Light 15. The Belfast motor trader funded John’s racing right up to F2.
