Triumph owners to the rescue
The work of the various marque clubs cannot be understated when it comes to finding and saving rare motor cars. That is certainly the case for the Pre 1940 Triumph Owners’ Club, led by John Quiney.
They recently rescued a 1929 Triumph Super Seven tourer from a sorry condition in a rotten garage in Surrey, where it had lain since the 1950’s. When the owner passed away, his family wanted the car to be rescued and a group of club members jumped to the rescue. Now, the 73 year-old car is awaiting restoration to full health.
