Spoilt for choice

Fans of historic racing stand to benefit from Silverstone’s split with Coys of Kensington. Although no longer supported by Coys, the Silverstone International Historic Festival will be run in late August, providing British enthusiasts with an unrivalled range of major historic festivals in 2001.

Despite the major financial investment required to bring together significant cars and drivers, this is a developing trend across Europe and the United States. At least seven European venues will be hosting major historic race meetings this season to add to she headline British events at Silverstone, Rockingham and Goodwood.
