Humber bug

In 1948, Thrupp & Maberley manufactured several Humber Pullman MkII Laundaulettes and Tourers for the Royal Tour of Australia and New Zealand, but unfortunately this was cancelled due to the king’s poor health.

Most were subsequently shipped out to Australia and used for the Royal Tour in 1954 but at least one Laundaulette, registration number HWK 122 was retained in the UK.

I am trying to research the subsequent history and fate of these cars and if any of your readers have any information on them, no matter how trivial, I would be delighted to hear from them.
