The Morgan Sports Car Club

I am informed that we made a bit of a muddle about the calendars issued by the two leading Morgan Clubs. It seems that the Morgan Sports Car Club first produced one in 1976 and that the current colour one, to commemorate 70 years of the make, is sold by both it and the Morgan 3-Wheeler Club.

More important is that the Morgan Sports Car Club is running a big celebration on July 4/7th. this year, with a sprint meeting at Goodwood on the Saturday and a Concours d’Elegance at Beaulieu on the Sunday, for which members from America, Canada, Japan and Australia will attend, as well as many from Europe. This Club supports the idea of two-tier RAC control of motor sporting events. The Hon. Secretary is: C. J. Smith, 23, Seymour Avenue, Worcester and the Club has as its President Peter Morgan.
