The MCC gave an incorrect date for its famous Land’s End Trial, in the Exeter programme. This classic takes place as usual at Easter, on March 28/29th.

As we have said previously, it is nice that the Meccano Magazine is still published from Binns Road, Liverpool, as it was in 1916. The current issue contains a history of Meccano electric motors since 1914, which may be of interest to those who used such motors in the model cars of their youth, and a description of a 2-speed automatic gearbox as used in a Meccano model of an Austin 7, we hope of the modern variety.

Renault UK will again support the 16-round Elf Championship for standard R5 saloons. The opening event will be at Croft on March 2nd.
