Devaluation and Price Increases
Increased prices of new cars, inevitable because the £ has been devalued, are reflected in a revised price-list issued by Fiat (England) Ltd.., one of the first to reach us. The increases range from £5 for the 600 saloon to £105 for the l.h.d. Dino coupé. The Fiat 500 now costs £429 9s. 5d., an increase of £12, but this sun-roof saloon remains by far the least expensive four-wheeler on the British market. The increases are quite apart from anything in the forthcoming Budget.
