The Peerless in Production

The Peerless G.T. four-seater coupé, to which reference was made in Motor Sport last October, is to go into production next month, the makers inform us. Slight changes have been made since the prototype Peerless returned from a trial run to Monte Carlo and back. The de Dion final-drive unit is now Silentbloc mounted and a Layrub propeller-shaft is used. The headlamps have been moved back slightly and fully recessed in the front wings. which carry a rib above the lamp, and the tail fins have been redesigned. The price of the car has been fixed at £1,498 7s. inclusive of p.t., and inclusive of leather upholstery and heater. Optional extras include overdrive and centre-lock wire wheels.
