Club affairs, March 1953
The Bentley D.C. will hold its annual Eastbourne Rally on March 27th-29th, with road section, regularity test, speed test at Goodwood and final tests on the sea-front at Eastbourne, to be followed by the Firle Hill-Climb on the Sunday. The event, which last year fell foul of snow, is open to B.D.C., A.M.O.C., Lancia M.C., Lagonda Club, Frazer Nash, Metropolitan Police M.D. S.S.C. and Twenty Ghost Club, with appropriate cars. Entries close mid-day March 2nd, to Lt.-Col. C. H. D. Berthon, “Madges,” Long Crendon, near Aylesbury, Bucks.

The Morgan 3-Wheeler Club will have its half-mile speed trial at Madresfield Court., by kind permission of the Rt. lion. Earl Beauchamp, on April 12th (public not admitted), and a rally with driving tests at Chateau Impney, Droitwich, on Whit Sunday. Details from R. G. Davies, 14, Lyttleton Street, Barbourne, Worcs.

The Sunbeam Register will welcome Roesch Talbot members to a combined Talbot/Sunbeam rally and concours on March 7th at Woodley Aerodrome, near Reading, commencing at 12 noon. It is hoped that Mr. Georges Roesch, the Talbot designer, will be present.

A Sussex S.C.C. is being formed, for owners in that delectable county of sports cars, old cars and American cars. The proposed membership fee is 10s. per annum. The temporary Secretary is C. R. Morris, 25, Rosslyn Road, Shoreham.

The West of England M.C.’s Annual Spring Car Trial will start at noon from the Half Moon Hotel, Tiverton, on March 1st.
