Crowd expected at Solitude

The Solitude circuit near Stuttgart celebrates its centenary with a major event on July 26-27. Dan Gurney, winner of the F1 race there in 1962, will star along with Hans Herrmann, Jochen Mass, Dieter Glemser and many more.

The road circuit, used from 1903-65, will stage regularity events on a 4.6km course based around Schloss Solitude. Cars and bikes that competed there feature in the 175-strong entry, along with more recent cars. Porsche 908s and 917s will line up beside the Ferrari 512M of Arturo Merzario and David Piper’s Ferrari P4.
