Jowettsport

The enthusiastic Jowett CC has published Jowettsport, a bi-annual account of sporting activities with Jowetts of all kinds. The current issue includes a list of 1990/91 competition successes and among the 21 photographs are some of vintage Jowetts, one a reminder that, at the 1962 VSCC Light Car race at Silverstone, Peter Lilley’s was on the line with an A7 coupe. Compiled by Mike Smailes and Nigel Coppin, and sponsored by Kingpin Remoulds of Wem (should anyone need tyres for such cars), the price is £3, from the Jowett Car Club Librarian, 16 Eskdaleside, Sleights, Whitby, North Yorks, Y022 5EP.
