Continental hill-climbs usually offer a much longer climb than their British counterparts, so the chance to enter such an event in Switzerland should be of interest. The AC Suisse are running the Massongex-Verossaz climb on August 31st, and are inviting vintage, thoroughbred, and classic entries from the UK. The course is 3.5 kms in length, with 22 corners. Vauxhall Owners will have their National Rally on Sunday June 29th, appropriately enough at Vauxhall Motors Sports Ground, Ellesmere Port. Another Vauxhall matter has been raised by the newly-renamed Opel-Vauxhall Drivers Club, one of whose members has purchased a Viva GT which had a Lotus 907 engine installed by Lotus Cars for development work.
