Michele Alboreto drove an energetic race at Monaco to finish second despite an off-course excursion and a stop to change a puncture. Above, the Italian opposite locks his Ferrari 156/85 over the hump out of Casino Square. Below, Jonathan Palmer survived to finish 11th in his first outing in the Zakspeed. Right, Andrea de Cesaris’s Ligier JS25 heads for fourth place just as Alboreto comes up to pass him.
