The BBC and Motor Racing
Sir,
I am writing to you in the hope that you, through your excellent magazine, may appeal to every reader who cares about motor racing and in particular racing on television to write to the BBC complaining about their refusal to televise the Race of Champions, the International Trophy and the Thruxton F2 event.
I have already written to Mr. Cliff Morgan who is the head of the Outside Sport department and I hope that thousands of other people will so that the BBC may realise they just cannot refuse to televise motor racing and hope that advertising will go away—it won’t! Remember it is your licence money they are using—or abusing.
