Sales in Sweden

A particularly interesting assessment of the international automobile market can be made by studying sales in Sweden where all cars sell at approximately the same advantage, unhampered by import duty and purchase tax. During our visit a sensation was caused when the B.M.C. announced a cut of 10% on the Swedish price of all their models.

Cadillac 25, Panhard 23, Triumph 19, Vespa 19, Pontiac 18, Maico 12, Volga 11, Land-Rover 9, Lincoln 7, Zundapp 6, Willys 5, Singer 5, Bentley 3, Ferrari 3, Popeda 3, Tempo 2, Rolls-Royce 2, Morgan 2, Kleinschnittar 2, and one each of Daimler, Lanchester, Maserati, Packard and Warszawa.
