Cunningham in dream Gp C run
Former single-seater ace Neil Cunningham will achieve a lifetime ambition at Monza in early June when he races a Group C sports car for the first time.
Although he has driven nearly 90 racing cars, Cunningham only recently tested a Group C car when he drove Bryan Wingfield Racing’s Ford C100. The run in the 3.9-litre Ford DFL machine went well and he is now set to race the car at Monza, the Silverstone Classic and the Nürburgring this summer.
“I’ve wanted to drive one of these Le Mans giants for so long, and I’ve been handed a golden opportunity by Bryan,” said the ex-pat Aussie.
