I’ve just received my June edition and am taking up your invitation to offer my comments.

Firstly the colour of the cover: well, at least you’ve got that right. I think I preferred the previous shade of green but perhaps I’m getting too pernickety and maybe the new green will grow on me.

As for the font type, size and colour, I’ve only once seen such a mish-mash before and that was when you previously re-launched the magazine in 2004.

What a distracting, confusing, illegible shambles it is. Having spent 24 years working for a British blue-chip manufacturing company, I would have been sacked for producing a piece of work like that.

I haven’t read all of the articles yet, but once I was able to concentrate on the text, the quality looks good. I noticed that Bill Boddy’s section was much shorter than normal which is a great shame; I hope it’s not a sign of something more sinister.

I miss some kind of a review of the current F1 season. Simon Taylor’s Modern Times was very good at covering it in a succinct way and putting it into perspective.
