Endurance required for Classic tour

A new classic rally for pre-1981 cars will pit crews against the worst of the British winter weather in February 2007.

Created by Simon Rossiter of Classic Rally Tours, the HRCR Winter Classic Trophy will run for five days on some of the highest roads in Britain.

The event will have starts at Chester, Stamford and Stratford-on-Avon, coming together at Ashbourne in the Peak District. The route then heads up the Pennines before finishing in Edinburgh.
