Cosworth 4WD on show at Brands

The un-raced Cosworth 4WD Formula One car made a rare trip away from the Donington Grand Prix Collection to go on show at Brands Hatch during the opening meeting of the Grand Prix Masters season.

The Robin Herd-designed car was built and tested in 1969 but never raced due to escalating costs, and an entry for the British GP at Silverstone was withdrawn at the last minute.

This was the first in a series of Donington Collection displays at GPM events. “We hope to have a different car at each Masters race,” said Masters organiser Christopher Tate.
