Prost drops out of the Goodwood Festival

Alain Prost is a disappointing late withdrawal from the Goodwood Festival of Speed.

The four-time World Champion was due to make his first appearance at the Sussex event (which takes place on June 24-26) and was scheduled to drive his 1989 title-winning McLaren-Honda MP4/5.

Even if he is not driving at Goodwood, Prost has been active behind the wheel: sharing with Jean-Pierre Jabouille, the duo recently took their first victory in the French GT Championship in their Chrysler Viper at Dijon, the circuit where both men took their maiden grand prix wins. They are second in the championship.
