HSCC: Mallory Park

Despite a nasty shunt in the Jaguar XK race during the HSCC’s Mallory Park meeting, Stephen Skipworth and Nicholas Wilkins thankfully emerged unharmed from seriously damaged cars. When the encounter was rerun, Graeme Dodd won comfortably.

The Derek Bell Trophy battle between the victorious Steve Worrad (Modus) and Neil Dunkel (Argo JM3) was a highlight. Neil Fowler’s route to the Historic Formula Ford spoils was eased when Oliver Smith spun, while Charles Barter’s Datsun 240Z took the ’70s Road Sports win. PL
