Vittorio Brambilla drove a racing car for the first time since 1981 when he demonstrated former Formula Atlantic team boss Doug Shierson and James King’s Beta Utensili March 761 at Monza last month. The 61-year-old – winner of the 1975 Austrian Grand Prix in a March – enjoyed the FIA Thoroughbred Grand Prix Championship round later in the day. “The cars are in better condition now than when I raced them,” said the ‘Monza Gorilla’.
