From the two small teams of Minardi and Scuderia Italia has grown Minardi Scuderia Italia. Italy’s second Fl team and one of the most popular in the paddock. Minardi has ploughed its familiar furrow with the uncomplicated Ml 94 which was finally introduced in Canada, and its use of
Ford Series VII HB V8s has permitted both Pierluigi Martini and Michele Alboreto to show great promise on occasion.
Both drivers are still hungry, the one of Latin fire, the older Italian possessed of more Anglo-Saxon calm. Each is the perfect foil for the other.
