Morgan 1980
Seventy years of Morgan production will be celebrated in four days of festivities at the NMM, Beaulieu, on July 4th, 5th, 6th and 7th. Over 1,000 Morgans are expected to attend this tribute to the world’s oldest privately owned motor manufacturer, organised by the Morgan Clubs’ joint committee.
The programme will begin with a welcome evening on Thursday, July 3rd at the NMM and the Sir John Barleycorn in Cadnam. A Medieval banqum buffet and film show will be held on the evening of the 4th at the NMM. On the 5th a convoy of Morgans will leave Beaulieu at 10 am for a Sprint at Goodwood and the day will be rounded off with an evening barbecue, disco and jazz. Sunday will be taken up with a Concours, parades, a gymkhana and driving tests and the weekend will be rounded off with a Monday lunchtime farewell at the Sir John Barleycorn.
