Ford Gearchanging

Ford Avo are offering a “short shift gearchange” for all 2-litre Cortina Mk. 3 models built after March 1972. The change is the same as that fitted as standard to the RS 2000 and literally halves gearchange movement. It comprises a 1/2-inch longer gearlever, new adaptor plate for the external gearlever mechanism, and is available through Ford Rallye Sport Dealers for £3.50 (plus VAT) under part number 9052381 for the gearlever only plus another £2.25 (Plus VAT) under code number 9052385 for the adaptor plate.
