If you are going to Wales this summer, which the investiture of H.R.H. Prince Charles has made a popular move, Shell’s splendid Guide to Wales is essential reading. It also contains some excellent colour plates. The authors are Wynford Vaughan-Thomas and Alun Llewellyn and this 360-page, beautifully produced book was deliberately timed for Investiture Year.
