[They apparently take motorists, who contribute millions in taxation, for a lot of mugs, for whom any treatment is good enough. It is high time we got together and made it plain that because we drive cars we are not criminals. Come to think of it, since I parted with my subscription to Motorists’ Action organisation started by Lotus’ head salesman, I have heard nothing further from them! It is time the Motor Industry itself fought on behalf of its customers, if the A.A. and R.A.C. are too timid or socially-committed to put up a real fight.—Ed.]
