Six-hour saloon race

The six-hour saloon car race sponsored by The Motor will be held on July 6th and will give spectators the first opportunity to see the all conquering Ford Galaxies in a long distance race. Four of them are due to be driven by Jack Brabham/Dan Gurney, Sir Gawaine Baillie/Peter Jopp, John Sprinzel/Morton Lucia, Jack Sears/”X.” Four 3.8 Jaguars will be driven by Roy Salvadori/”X,” Peter Lindner/Peter Nocker, Mike Salmon/Peter Sutcliffe and Chris McLaren/John Coundley. Racing starts at 11.15 a.m.
