Dates for your diary

The 2008 historic racing calendar has started to take shape following confirmation of the dates for the two Goodwood events. The 16th Festival of Speed will run from July 11-13, the weekend after the British GP, with the 10th Revival Meeting on September 19-21. Entry will again be by advance ticket only – tickets are on sale now.

Other key European dates include the Monaco Historic GP (May 10-11) and the revived Coppa Intereuropa at Monza (June 7-8), which will include the first race at Monza for the RAC Woodcote Trophy for pre-56 sports cars. The Le Mans Classic (July 11-13) will clash with the Festival of Speed, while the Silverstone Classic will be on July 25-27. A provisional date for the Spa Classic Six Hour meeting is September 26-28.

Other major UK dates includes Masters events at Donington Park (April 19-20) and at Brands Hatch (May 25-26). The Brands Hatch Historic Festival is from June 28-29, with the Oulton Park Gold Cup on August 24-25.
