Another in Veloce’s ‘Those were the days…’ series. It’s a fun read, too, even if the text amounts to little more than extended captions. There are a few cracking images. We were particularly intrigued by the shot of Kaye Griffith’s BRP-derived F5000 car, and any book that includes pics of Frank Gardner’s BSCC Boss Mustang is OK with us. There are a few grating spelling mistakes (er, Tyrell more than once), and the racing Lotus Europa is a 47. More pages would have been great, but this is worth having, despite the quibbles. RH
