Agreed value

Readers letters, page 1352, November issue, Agreed Value, H.F.F. Summerson, I have had no trouble in insuring a 1960 car for an “agreed value.”

This can be done with K.M.G. at Lloyd’s or with Eagle Star subject to vehicle inspection. It seems that where it can be proven the money has been invested in the car the insurance companies are happy to help. I have had no difficulties in this field and can only suggest that a good insurance agent will not only save you money but work in your interests. I have absolutely no connection with any insurance business but would be happy to forward details to Mr. Summerson if he so desires.
