The enclosed Traffic Wardens advertisement has spurred me to write immediately to my favourite magazine. Has racing sponsorship finally disappeared? Are the rewards of Formula One so pathetic that participants are relegated to such levels?
Oh, Graham! Surely if you had only let us know, other ways could have been devised for boosting your bank balance other than promoting the recognised top parasitic profession in Britain today.
I hardly dare say it, but perhaps it’s a case of “come back Jackie Stewart, all is forgiven”.
