"Car Handyman"
“Car Handyman”, by Mark Edwards. 144 pp. 8 in, x 5 1/4 in. (Arthur Barker Ltd., 5, Winsley Street, London, W.1. 38s.)
This book may seem elementary to those who change engines overnight or build their own specials. It is certainly not for the racing-car mechanic. But for those who wish to save garage bills but are not too well acquainted with the mechanics of the motor car this book could be a worthwhile investment. It covers so many aspects of home servicing, trouble diagnosis and the tools to buy that the budding amateur mechanic shouldn’t ignore it.—W. B.
