1971 Racing Car Show

The Racing Car Show still continues to gain stature particularly since the SMMT joined forces with BRSCC to run this now bi-annual gathering at Olympia. The coming show commences on January 6th and continues for ten days although it will be closed on Sunday January 10th. Times of opening are from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and admission will be rather high at 8s. (6s. for children under 14) except on opening day.

This year all the major British racing car manufacturers without exception will be showing, many of them with new models, particularly for the just announced Formulae Atlantic and Super Vee. The Show is traditionally the winter meeting point for everyone in racing and there is almost as much fun spotting the well-known drivers in the crowd as seeing the racing cars and other goodies on show.
