Latest from Lesney—a Safari Land-Rover and a Denver City fire-pump truck, Nos. 12 and 29, respectively, in the “Matchbox” series. Lesney have already issued replicas, 2 5/8 in. long, of the Ford GT40 coupe in American racing colours, with detailed rear engine (scale 61 : 1), and the M.G. 1100 too, the latter including driver and motoring dog on the back seat, at 2s. each (” Matchbox” series, Nos. 41 and 64, respectively).

Corgi released, last month, a Mini-Cooper with basketwork finish, 2 7/8 in. long, No. 249, priced at 4s. 11d. Their copiously illustrated 1966 catalogue, which gives details of over 100 Corgi miniatures is now available from toy and model stockists. price: 3d.—W. B.
