Excellent national Benzole guide books

The subsidies of the petrol companies made motor racing possible and National Benzole have subsidised some excellent guide books, so that 6s. you get a high-class, beautifully printed and illustrated publication: To date there are four of these little books – “Monuments,” “Follies” and “Bridges,” all edited by Sir Hugh Casson, and “Sailing Tours,” the last-named for boating enthusiasts and based on the Essex and Sussex coasts.
