Frank Lockhart 1919-2000
Obituary
Lockhart, who died on November 21, will be remembered mainly for his exploits with the single-seater Rover special which he developed and raced during some 40 years. After serving in the RAF during World War II, he ran a motor business in Dunstable, and joined the VSCC in ’51 while running the Baby Peugeot that was destined to evolve into the Peugeot-JAP. His cheery disposition will be missed.
