The above, as ever, thought provoker from the pen of WB struck a chord in my consciousness. Can we look forward, in the context of “greenery” to comment on the Equinox programme, quoted in a recent PractIcal Motorist. The message was that in the rather chilly UK catalytic converter is non-functioning for 66% of the time and that engines so fitted are less efficient than a lean-burner, consuming more fuel and pumping out more CO!

So much for the intellectual prowess of all these Cambridge Arts graduates!
