I f you are reading this then you won’t need any selling on Grand

Prix racing from me. Sixteen events all over the world from the glamour and jet-set surroundings of Monaco to the charm and distinctiveness of Budapest, the vibrancy of Rio de Janeiro and excitement of Monza. Ferrari, McLaren, Williams, Benetton and the rest colourfully vying for supremacy with all the speed, noise and action that you’ve seen on the box in thrilling actuality right there before you. No replays mind you and you won’t be able to read Nigel’s rev counter, but it’s great to be on the spot as part the action! Every year I enthusiastically say that it’s going to be better than ever next season and I’m always right! Well next season is almost with us so let’s consider the possibilities. 1989 showed that McLaren’s former dominance has been reduced. They won 15 in 1988 but were beateh by Ferrari, Williams and Benetton in 1989. With a winter’s development and the usual intriguing changes the top teams will be even more competitive next season

and that will be something to see! Frost with Ferrari against Senna’s McLaren. Berger with McLaren against Mansell’s Ferrari. Piquet in a Benetton-Ford with his income geared to thousands of dollars for every point he scores (and Nannini to keep him up to the mark!). Derek Warwick and Martin Donnelly, with V12 Lamborghini power, out to return Lotus to their former greatness. Alboreto with Arrows. And brilliant ‘new boys’ like Jean Alesi, J J Lehto and Eric Bernard out to make their marks in Formula 1. Definitely not to be missed! Where to go? Which Grand Prix to see? How to get there? Well the answers to the first two questions must be yours but ‘Page & Moy’ is my answer to the third. I’ve been one of their very

contented customers for more years than I like to think of, so I know from personal experience that they get the job done quietly and efficiently. Why take on all the hassle of doing it yourself when you can have experts do it for you?

So make your choice, leave it to them and enjoy the experience. a
