Last year’s Earls Court Motorfair broke all records, with sales up by 19% to a total of £38,000,000 and attendance up by 7%. to 339,000, according to KBH Communications. The National Motor Museum, for example, thought it the best Show ever, and Trafalgar claimed a 500% advance in sales of its product against those at the previous Motorfair. There is every reason to suppose that the Racing Car Show at Olympia (see page 108) will have been at least as successful.
