2 — Bugatti: Ettore Bugatti’s artistic eye and his interest in horses developed the famous horseshoe-shaped radiator, which no-one dared to copy. The tubular front axle was another distinctive feature of Bugatti cars when viewed from the front. This 1932 Type 55 supercharged straight-eight model set a standard for sports-car performance, while the elegant 2-seater body, with shapely flowing mud-guards, enhanced the graceful proportions of the radiator.
