No Expense Spared

Sir,

Before you road-test the new Triumph 2000, might I suggest you read Triumph’s catalogue, especially second para., beginning: “You can judge it beside the most expensive car you have ever driven,” etc. I hope you will do this, pulling no punches.

A showroom examination of this car shows it to be no better than previous Triumphs, and the finish, inside and out, leaves quite a lot to be desired.

Compared with, say, a Ford Zodiac it seems very expensive, but then perhaps one is paying for all this high pressure adulating.
