More Power for Mercedes 300SE

Various engine modifications have been made to the Mercedes-Benz 300SE to bring the maximum power up from 185 to 195 b.h.p. (SAE). This has increased the claimed maximum speed of the coupé from 121 m.p.h. to 124 m.p.h. and the limousine from 115 m.p.h. to 118 m.p.h. Both models will in future be available with manual or automatic transmission to choice.
